Public Notice regarding LBT Master Plan

PUBLIC NOTICE

            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on April 14, 2021, at 7:00pm, via the ZOOM Video Meeting Platform, at the Regular Meeting of the Long Beach Township Land Use Board will hold a hearing on a revision and amendment of the Long Beach Township Master Plan to include the revised Municipal Stormwater Management Plan and the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan, at which time and place all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.

A copy of said proposed master plan amendment documents are on file with the Long Beach Township Land Use Board Secretary, 6805 Long Beach Boulevard, Brant Beach, New Jersey, and may be inspected during business hours in the Office of the Board Secretary by all interested parties prior to said meeting.

            The Long Beach Township Land Use Board shall give public notice of the hearing on these revisions and amendments of the master plan; such notice shall be given by publication in the official newspaper of the municipality at least 10 days prior to the date of the hearing. Notice shall also be given by personal service or certified mail to the clerk of the adjoining municipalities at least 10 days prior to the date of any such hearing. Notice shall also be given by personal service or certified mail to the NJ Office of Planning Advocacy and to the Ocean County Planning Board at least 10 days prior to the date of the hearing with a copy of any the proposed master plan revisions and amendments. A copy of the master plan revisions and amendments will also be filed with the NJ Office of Planning Advocacy and to the Ocean County Planning Board not more than 30 days after the date of such adoption, revision, or amendment. Notice shall also be given to any military facility commander who has registered with the municipality to receive such notice.
