New Playground at Bayview Park

We are excited to announce we are getting new playground equipment at Bayview Park!  We have removed the current playground equipment to get ready for the installation. That area of the park is closed until further notice.

The Lauren Rousseau playground was built in honor of Lauren Rousseau, a teacher at Sandy Hook Elementary.  The playground was opened in 2014 on May 11th.  It was built to recognize Lauren’s love for the beach and water. We are thankful to the Where the Angels Play organization for their generosity to us and to the other dozens of towns, they have built playgrounds for.
